BiographyDuring the course of his 40-year career, Seattle-based photographer Art Wolfe has worked on every continent in hundreds of locations, producing more than one million photographic images and publishing more than 80 books. Wolfe’s stunning pictures interpret and record the world’s wildlife, landscapes and native cultures, inspiring people to celebrate and protect these precious assets. By employing artistic and journalistic styles, he documents his subjects and educates the viewer. His unique approach to nature photography is based on his training and his love of the environment. Wolfe graduated from the University of Washington with bachelor’s degrees in fine arts and art education. He donates work to environmental and educational groups every year, teaches intensive seminars and is host of America's public television's Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe. www.artwolfe.com
